get_latest_log_entry wrapper and optimize logging retrieval#355Conversation
Removed the redundant `get_latest_log_entry` wrapper function in `evolverstage.py` and consolidated its usage in `get_evolution_status`. This change reduces unnecessary file I/O operations and simplifies the logging retrieval logic. The test suite has been updated to accommodate these changes, with all 184 tests passing. This PR addresses a 'Redundant Wrapper' and 'Duplication' issue in
evolverstage.py.get_latest_log_entry()function and updatedget_evolution_status()to use a single call toget_recent_log_entries(5)to populate both itslatest_logandrecent_logfields.get_latest_log_entry()was a simple wrapper that added overhead without providing additional value. By consolidating its logic intoget_evolution_status(), we avoid reading the battle log file multiple times, improving performance and code clarity.PR created automatically by Jules for task 9326966221030481857 started by @RainRat
