protoRT v1 - 1D Radiative Transfer in Dust Cubes for (Sub-)millimeter Continuum Analysis

This release introduces protoRT, a Python package for performing radiative transfer calculations through 3D dust density cubes generated by hydrodynamical simulations of planetesimal formation. The code models dust continuum emission by integrating intensity along the vertical direction in each column of the cube, producing spatially resolved intensity maps.

These maps enable synthetic continuum analysis at (sub-)millimeter wavelengths, facilitating direct comparison with observations of protoplanetary disks.

This package is designed to support theoretical investigations of dust mass estimates, optical depth effects, and the distribution of thermal emission in young protoplanetary disks where planetesimal formation is underway.
