v1.1.0 — SSRN prep
Verified claims, consistent numbers, sourced citations. Prepared for SSRN submission.
v3.1 — Corrected corpus count and bio
- Bio: twelve years → thirteen years
- Corpus count: verified at 6,000+ conversations / 300,000+ messages
- PDF regenerated
v3.0 — Bidirectional Accommodation + Copy/Clarity Pass
Changes
- Bidirectional accommodation reframe: the pour accommodates the human, the tools accommodate the model
- Pour defined as ongoing accommodation (available throughout process), not front-loaded step
- Copy/clarity pass: voice violations fixed, cross-page repetition resolved, mechanical parallelism varied
- FormWork consistently described as coordination harness
v2.0 — FormWork Correction
What changed
FormWork is now correctly described as the coordination harness, not the evaluation system.
- Section 4 restructured: new intro establishing FormWork as the temporary structure (from concrete construction) that holds all tools in position while work is wet
- Section 4.2 renamed from "Evaluation Decomposition: Formwork" to "Evaluation Decomposition: LensArray"
- Abstract updated to name FormWork as coordination harness, LensArray as evaluation system
- Section 5 (Recursive Proof) rewritten to reflect correct tool roles
- Applied Tools section restructured with correct descriptions
- PDF included
This is a substantive revision to the flagship whitepaper. The core framework (accommodation design) is unchanged. The correction clarifies the relationship between the coordination process (FormWork) and its component tools (SavePoint, LensArray, skills, voice, knowledge traversal).
v1.3 — Voice fixes (mechanical parallelism)
Section 7 (Implications): broke mechanical parallelism across subsection headers. Three consecutive "becomes" constructions varied for structural diversity.
- "The IEP becomes a design pattern" → "Federal education law already codifies the design pattern"
- "Scaffold removal becomes a design goal" → "Every scaffold should be questioned"
No content changes. Voice/style fix only.
v1.2 — Voice consistency pass
Copy-verify pass: removed em dashes, collapsed double negation-affirmation, removed personification from conclusion. Content unchanged.
v1.1 — Input Inversion Elevated, Bio Corrections
Changes from v1.0
Section 4.6: Input Inversion elevated to "The Foundational Practice"
- Rewritten to establish unstructured human thinking as the substrate all accommodation tools depend on
- Bidirectional accommodation framing: AI gets decomposed tasks, human gets permission to be unstructured
- Added scaling guidance (a month of voice notes is enough to begin)
Bio line correction
- "lead designer" → "twelve years building the front end of" (accuracy fix)
Content parity
- GitHub README and petersalvato.com/governance/accommodation-design/ are now in sync
v1.0 — AI Governance as Accommodation Design
Initial publication. A pedagogical framework for human-AI system architecture, derived from special education pedagogy. CC BY 4.0.
