+This Privacy Policy applies to the PetJournal app (hereby referred to as "Application") created by PetJournal Organization (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

+1. Information Collection and Use
+The Application collects information when you download and use it. The types of data collected are described below:

+A. Personal Data & Pet Information
+To provide the full functionality of the Application, specifically the tracking of your pet's history and health, we may require you to provide certain information, including:
+
+User Information: Name and Email address (for account authentication and recovery).
+
+Pet Information: Name, breed, age, weight, gender, neutered/spayed status, and health records.
+
+All data provided is transmitted to and stored on our secure servers. This allows you to access your pet's information across different devices and prevents data loss if you change phones.
+
+B. Multimedia (Camera and Images)
+The Application requests access to your device’s Camera and Photo Gallery.
+
+Purpose: This access is strictly used to allow you to set profile pictures for your user account and for your pets.
+
+Storage: Images you upload are stored on our servers associated with your account. We do not use these images for any purpose other than displaying them within the Application as part of your pet's profile.
+
+C. Exclusions (What we do NOT collect)
+For clarity, the Application does not collect or store:
+
+Physical addresses or precise GPS location history.
+
+Financial information, credit card numbers, or banking details (the Application does not currently offer in-app purchases or subscription services).

+2. Third-Party Access
+Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

+3. Data Retention and Deletion
+The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and maintain an active account.

+Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data (including pet records and images) at any time. To request deletion, please contact us at gustavo_nox@hotmail.com. We will process your request and permanently delete your data from our servers within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30 days).

+4. Security
+The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

+5. Children’s Privacy
+The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, this will be immediately deleted from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider.

+This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.
