If you want to use our RectEuler tool, you don't have to run it on your server. On https://rectvis.de/, you can upload your datasets using the "Upload Data" button. After the optimization, you can download the final visualization.
There are some example datasets in the examples folder.
A Gurobi WSL Licence is required to run the optimization. For academic use, it can be obtained from https://www.gurobi.com/academia/academic-program-and-licenses/.
If you have obtained a gurobi.lic file, place it in docker-files/secrets. You can delete the gurobi.lic.sample file.
In docker-files/secrets rename postgres_password.txt.sample to postgres_password.txt and put in it a secure password used for the database.
Run docker compose up in docker-files. You can now open your browser on localhost to view the website and upload datasets to be visualized.
Change localhost in - SERVER_ADDR=localhost to your domain.
