This GitHub organization hosts the development of osef.me — a website focused on improving the map discovery experience for osu! players.
The goal of this project is to help osu!mania players find good maps more easily by offering tools and features that go beyond what's currently available.
The idea is to build a platform that supports:
- Custom difficulty and scoring systems
- Advanced filtering and search options
- Game-inspired modes and metrics (e.g. Etterna, Quaver, etc.)
- Useful data visualizations and maybe some smart recommendations later on
Basically, a more useful and flexible way to browse and explore mania maps.
Honestly, it's just the domain I already had lying around. It comes from my online handle (Osef), and I didn’t have the budget (or inspiration) to come up with a better name or buy a new domain — so here we are.
It’s not that deep.
This organization is split into several repositories for different parts of the project, I invite you to check them, maybe you will find something interesting.
Everything is a work in progress — contributions and feedback are always welcome.
This is still early-stage and under active development. Stay tuned for updates, or jump in if you’re interested in helping out.
