Dataset title
-------------
Investigating neuroepigenetic alterations in chronic low back pain with positron emission tomography

Description
-----------
This dataset contains multimodal neuroimaging data acquired from patients with chronic low back pain.
Data include positron emission tomography (PET) with the radiotracer [11C]Martinostat, structural MRI
(T1-weighted, T2-weighted, and FLAIR), and resting-state functional MRI.

Participants
------------
All participants were patients diagnosed with chronic low back pain.
No healthy control subjects are included in this dataset.

Imaging modalities
------------------
- PET: [11C]Martinostat
- Structural MRI: T1w, T2w, FLAIR
- Functional MRI: resting-state BOLD

De-identification
-----------------
All structural MRI images (T1w, T2w, and FLAIR) were defaced prior to public release to remove facial
features and protect participant privacy. Functional MRI and PET images are provided as brain images
and do not contain identifiable facial features.

Study design
------------
This is an observational, cross-sectional study. No experimental intervention or task was performed
during image acquisition.

Funding
-------
This work was supported by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases
(NIAMS), National Institutes of Health, under Cooperative Agreement UH3AR076741.

Notes
-----
The dataset is organized according to the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) specification.
