- Semtech's "official" library seems to be LoRaMac-node. This library is documented here. This is less of a driver and more a LoRaWan Operating System
- Semtech Arduino port contains and older version of the Semtech library, ported to Arduino.
- Semtech's SX1276 home which is likely the module the HopeRF Hope95w is based on.
- Semtech's canonical firmware released via the SX1276 home. (which is 4.1.0 when 4.4.4. has been released on github)
LMIC is "LoRaWAN MAC in C", abandonware by IBM. Some mirrors:
- ESP8266 and Arduino (Atmega 328) port v1.51
- Matthijs Kooijman's solidly documented Ardunio port v1.5... (deprecated)
- MCCI Catena's further development of Kooijman's port, far off from last published LMIC
- mirror of (probably) v.1.6...
- Archive.org mirror of the final version of the lmic website, including nonsense Forrester estimates about 22 billion devices in 2020 blabla. (2016-11-30)
- Radiohead Hard to google library for general purpose radio stuff (including drivers for SX127x/RFM95 ... no repo unfortunately
- Adafruit Python
- node.js
- application layer only implementation
- Semtech's SX1276-7-8-9 datasheet (mirror) and Errata (mirror)
- HopeRF's RFM95W page which is apparently a rebadged SX1276. Home of the RFM95W datasheet (mirror)
- LoRaWAN Specification (mirror)
- A decent technical introduction to LoRa, making it clear that LoRa and LoRaWAN are two distinct things ...
- Mirror of Semtech's "AN1200.22 LoRa™ Modulation Basics" application note.
- The (main?) patent US7791415 "Fractional-N-Synthesized Chirp Generator" (mirror) for LoRa physical layer chirps, see als European Patent EP20130154071f "Low Power Long Range Tranmitter ( mirror )
- "Reverse Engineering the LoRa PHY" by Matt Knight from the International Journal of Proof-of-Concept or Get The Fuck Out vol 0x13, p.48ff probably the most in depth technical explanation. Slides for a corresponding talk.
