Hi there, I'm Christian ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m a Geospatial Tech enthusiast building open-source solutions with Machine Learning, Remote Sensing, and AI.

๐ŸŒ Based in Lisbon, Portugal

๐Ÿš€ About Me

  • ๐Ÿง  I work at the intersection of Data Science, Geospatial Analytics, and Machine Learning.
  • ๐ŸŒ Passionate about transforming geospatial data into meaningful insights.
  • ๐Ÿ’ก I enjoy building tools and products that help visualize and analyze geospatial data.
  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Always learning โ€” currently exploring geospatial web application development.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Tech Stack

Python SQL PostgreSQL Google Earth Engine Jupyter GeoPandas Leaflet QGIS ArcGIS Docker GMT

๐Ÿ“Œ Featured Projects

  • Lisbon GreenGrid An urban tree inventory & maintenance management system. It is a simple yet robust system for managing urban trees in the city of Lisbon. It enables city planners or maintenance teams to efficiently query, insert, update, and manage tree-related data through a web application.

  • FordGoBike Analysis Through exploratory data analysis and statistical evaluation, this project investigates how customer attributes specifically Gender, Age, and User Type influence ride duration. The analysis aims to identify patterns in trip behavior and assess whether demographic and subscription characteristics are associated with differences in usage.

  • WeRateDogs Tweets Analysis WeRateDogs is a Twitter account that rates peopleโ€™s dogs with a humorous comment about the dog. These ratings almost always have a denominator of 10. The numerators, though? Almost always greater than 10. 11/10, 12/10, 13/10, etc. Why? Because โ€œtheyโ€™re good dogs Brent.โ€
