On this wiki, we collect information about Domain Specifications (DS) and publish and document requests for domain specifications (RDS) with updates about their processing status.
The wiki is public, and requests (Github Issues or, in short issues) that are potentially reflected in the Wiki as RDS can be filed by anyone.
For more information, please read our FAQs below.
- Navigate your browser to the RDS submission template page.
- Copy the code block you find there.
- Navigate your browser to the issues page and click on "New Issue".
- Paste the code block into the text field and add you RDS information. An example how this might look like can be found here
All issues will be put into Kanban board. As soon as the status of the issue changes, e.g. from "open" to "in progress", this change will be reflected in the Kanban board and you will be notified by email.
Every issue has its own page (e.g. https://github.com/ODTA/ds/issues/1). There, on the bottom of the page, you find a comment section, which you can use for debading, having polls or asking questions.
After submitting an RDS, it will be processd by STI. STI then creates an RC document and links at the corresponding issue and ask about open points / questions. The community discusses the proposal under the issue. The STI then processes the input from discussion and makes a Draft DS Proposal. Once this proposal is discussed and approved, it is published as a domain specification.
