Have you ever found yourself staring at the chaos in your fridge, unable to think of a way to utilize what's in it? We've all been there, and now we have created a solution to that common problem! 🐻 Kumamo is an easy to use application that will choose your meal for you!
Using our website, you can enter ingredients found in your fridge, and the page will find you a dish that uses those ingredients.
Our website uses API functionality to provide you, the user, with recipes, photos, links, and even nutritional facts so that you can find exaclty what you're looking for. You will also be provided with various options to choose from, in case the first dish doesn't match with your personal taste.

- Spoonacular ~ Recipe database containing all ingredients, nutrition, dietary information etc. included in our website.
- YouTube API ~ YouTube's API allows us to link relevent videos right on our website.
- Geoapify ~ Used in our site to locate the user and work hand in hand with the weather API.
- OpenWeatherMap ~ Provides us with weather conditions in any area and, working with the Geoapify API, allows us to give the user their specialized greeting message.
Upon opening the page you will be greeted by our Kumamo Bear! 🐻 The Bear uses the APIs to give you a specialized message based on the current weather in your area.
After being prompted to enter 1-3 ingredients in the input fields, you will then receive a recipe that uses those ingredients.
Click on the "Find Another Recipe" button to get up to ten more recipes using the same ingredients.
See nutritional information on all of the dishes as well as linked YouTube videos on how to cook similar recipes on the final page. If you want to try finding recipes using different ingredients, then just click 'Start from Beginning' and you'll be taken back to the first page.
