Project Overview

This dataset was obtained from Empovation. It contains data on Electronic store from year 2016 to 2021.

Removed $ from columns Unit Price USD and Unit Cost USD

Set the date formart as MDY for flow/consistency

Findings

1. Carlifornia is the state with the hightest number of orders (Batch 1 file)

2. Year 2019 has the highest sale/ transaction count

3. The store size(square meters) does not define its sales volume

4. United states has the highest lifetime value of customers

5. YoY growth trend declines in year 2020 and even extra in 2021

6. Customer retention analysis show that

Recommendations

To attract more sales, offline shops should try customer incentives to attract more and retain their customers; after services, discounts. I suggest inventory redistribution, where products are in demand more to increase efficiency

Conclusion

The online shop gets more traction, making it the highest earning point
