Welcome to the FAQ! If you're having trouble with Banana Mod Manager, check below to see if your issue is listed. if not, join our Discord and ask for help in the support channel!
A: To set up mods for Banana Mod Manager, make sure each mod has its own subfolder in the mods directory. In that folder, make sure that the mod's *.dll and *.json files are in that directory. If a mod has other files beyond the required DLL and JSON files, make sure they are installed properly according to that mod - whether that means in sub-folders or in the same directory as the required files. A proper example of how the mods folder should be set up is included in the Speedrun.Legal.Mods.zip included with each release of BMM - copying those folders directly into your mods folder will set up each of those mods.
A: No. There is currently no plan to support Steam Deck either.
A: Depending on the mod and your loader's setup, there could be a number of reasons. The most common two are:
Type with FullName (Mod Name) is already injected : this happens when multiple versions of a single mod are loaded. Disable one version of the mod and try again (this commonly happens when loading the multiplayer fixes for Dynamic Sounds or Guest Character Voice Pack - you can only have one version of Dynamic Sounds or Guest Character Voice Pack loaded at a time).
Could not load file or assembly (Mod Name) or one of its dependencies : this happens when mod priority is not set up correctly. Some mods depend on others to work properly. If you receive this error, try dragging the required mod from the error to the top of your mod list in BMM, then load again.
