About The Pull Request
(See this discord thread: https://discord.com/channels/1460038464035618929/1480609439198478419/1480609439198478419)
Changes the uplink.
Decreases the contractor baton(standalone) price from 11 to 10 tc, and only makes it available if the pop is 20 or above.
Adds the regular telebaton(equivalent to the bronze-tipped telebaton the QM gets) for 5 tc, available at any pop, with a purchasing limit of 3 per agent.
Reduces the chance of the contractor baton being in the surplus crate from 50 to 25, and sets the chance of the telebaton being in the surplus crate at 50.
Reduces the following implants' prices(Nova modified these):
Storage implant: 15 to 8
Stealth implant: 15 to 8
Freedom implant: 8 to 5
Radio implant: 5 to 4
Also makes it so the "steal a telebaton" objective only counts if you have a head of staff baton, not a regular baton.
Why it's Good for the Game
The contractor baton is too OP given the lowpop nature of the server.
It just hardstuns someone in one shot while also making them unable to communicate their state, either over local or radio.
The telebaton is cheaper, takes 2 hits to stun somebody, and has a lower amount of armor penetration.
The old implant's prices are ACTUALLY bonkers dude
These implants are easy to deal with if you're know what you're doing and shouldn't be priced highly, taking up most of your traitor budget if you go for a stealth or storage implant
We are not Nova. We do not average 150 players per day. Usually it's only gonna be one traitor or rarely two traitors per round that you're gonna be fighting.
