About The Pull Request

This is an update to kilostation to make it more RP friendly.

Most notable changes:

  • Maintenance - removed all corpses and hostile npcs, but left the goliath in the goliath den.
  • Detectives Office - expanded at the cost of maintenance and modified it.
  • Security - remade from ground up for a better looking and more functional design. Removed the lava/clown area.
  • Armory - removed many guns and made it smaller to match other stations. Moved out MOD suits.
  • Security Mechbay - removed Paddy to match the stations state. Moved MOD suits into it.
  • Interrogation room - added a room behind a tinted glass for observing.
  • Security medbay - removed surgery table, morgue tray and crematorium.
  • Cells - added more cells at the cost of few dorms rooms. Added holding cell.
  • Permabrig - moved the closet so you dont enter perma through it, added bins.
  • Corrections Office - removed John Gamer area, made it smaller.
  • Medbay - fixed disposals.
  • Robotics and Pharmacy - added shutters to close windows into monkey enclosures.
  • Morgue - made it slightly larger, removed the chute that transported trash into it.
  • Library - remade it and made it larger at the cost of part of central maintenance.
  • Toilets - minor changes and removal of the barricaded clown toilet area.
  • Fore Maintenance - removed shotgun roulette rooms, placed instead abandoned garden. Remade the abandoned cafeteria.
  • Xenobiology - resized it into a more reasonable size. Changed reinforced plasma tables into glass ones. Added cycling airlock with a tube going through it instead of maintenance doors.
  • Science EVA -> Cargo-Science EVA - Added cargo access, more EVA suits. Added access in science maintenance for cargo players to get to that room from cargo.
  • Warehouse -> Cargo Project area - Added catwalk and cave tunnel going from Cargo-Science EVA to there. Removed all hostile NPCs.
  • Cargo Bay - expanded and modified it, added more spawns for random chests.
  • Cargo Drone Exploration Room -> Warehouse - moved all drone exploration into bay, expanded the area and added shutters as well as random items and crate spawns. Moved the MOD suit locker into it.
  • Custodial Closet - moved out the recycler.
  • Disposals - expanded the area and moved in the recycler.

Why it's Good for the Game

Kilostation was not really made with HRP in mind (corpses, ghosts, many hostile NPCs, clowns, many joke rooms etc.) this update will make it a more roleplay friendly map with more space for certain jobs to shine and less dangerous maintenance for new players to explore as well as older players to use.

Proof of Testing

(it was saint patricks day when testing so decals changed.)
