in build.xml. Gradle build creates jars and stuffs them in local repo. Testing next.

common commands are
> gradle jar
> gradle test
> gradle clean
> gradle publishToMavenLocal
All ant commands still work as well. Use of gradle and ant should be interchangeable during transition.
'lib' directory will be kept around until transition is done
