Now actually the final touches on 0.2. Just some minor stuff and compatibility.

  • Players now face the center of the game when it starts.
  • There are now game descriptions when hovering the suggestions in the /game command.
  • Added compatibility with 26.1 and 26.1.1 and above.
  • Added compatibility with 1.20.6.
  • Fixed #2 (Player-shuffling after game ends)
  • Fixed #3 (Custom max-health breaking games, e.g. from Lifesteal plugins)

Some final touches on 0.2 before moving onto 0.3, which will contain a very fun modifier system.

  • Added a few sound effects, which are also configurable.
  • New configuration entries:
    • The platform material used.
    • A item blacklist to prevent some items from being received.
  • Entities are now also cleared when a game ends.
  • The queue is now enabled by default, avoiding confusion.
  • Instant respawn is now enabled automatically.
  • Added metrics to help with plugin development.
  • Prevent creating and entering portals while in a game.
  • Prevent setting your spawnpoint while in a game.
  • A bunch of fixes and adjustments to make the plugin feel better.

The plugin has been completely rewritten and now has some very convenient new features:

  • Added a full queue system (turned off by default, see config)
  • Added Item-Shuffle and Player-Shuffle game modes.
  • Changed to an ID-based game management.
  • Commands are now a lot more intuitive and easy to understand.
  • Updated a lot of things and switched to Kotlin -> Plugin should now be a lot smoother and faster.
  • Fixed a bunch of bugs from games never ending, to allowing kills after the game ended, to plugin crashes.
  • Overall polished the plugin to be more fit for production-usage, so anyone can use it for their own server.

Configuration:

  • Huge amount of new options in the configuration.
  • Game modes are now a lot more customizable.
  • You can now modify the configuration while the plugin is running and use commands (/pp-config modify) to do so.

... and a lot more I can't list here because I may or may not have forgotten and am too lazy to check all the code commits again.
