Gene Arukah Interface

🎯 Overview

Gene Arukah is a web-based bioinformatics audio tool that transforms DNA, RNA, and protein sequences into melodies. Users can:

  • 🧪 Enter any genetic sequence (DNA/RNA/Protein)
  • 🎵 Listen to real-time sonification with multiple sound textures
  • 📊 Compare sequences and analyze mutations
  • ⬇️ Download WAV, MIDI, CSV, and spectrogram PNG files
  • ✨ Auto-generate random sequences for experimentation

Built with vanilla JavaScript, Web Audio API, and dark-themed UI.

🔬 Research Context

This is Version 1.0.0 is part of an ongoing research:

The project is in active development and intended for research purposes only.

✨ Features

Feature Description
Sequence Input Paste or generate DNA/RNA/Protein sequences
Real-time Playback 4 sound textures: Soft Pad, Singing Bowl, Flute, Harp
Audio Controls Tempo, Reverb, Volume, Mutation noise
Visual Feedback Waveform display, note visualization, sequence map
Sequence Comparison Pitch distance, rhythm difference, melody similarity, mutation profile
Download Options WAV (4 types), MIDI, CSV, Spectrogram PNG
Auto Generator Random DNA/RNA/Protein

🛠️ Technology Stack

  • HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript

🔗 Use the Tool Online

You can use the web-based tool directly here:

Quick Start

  • Enter a sequence – Type or paste DNA/RNA (e.g., ATGCGATCG) or protein sequence

  • Choose sound texture – Select from Pad, Bowl, Flute, or Harp

  • Adjust controls – Tempo, Reverb, Volume, Mutation

  • Press BEGIN – Listen to your genetic melody

This web tool is part of a hypothesis of my ongoing research

Current Status: v1.0.0

🤝 Contributing

As this is an ongoing research project, contributions are welcome in:
