Bonus Interview Task
This page summarizes the bonus interview task for Komodo's Mobile Developer (Android) position, posted on February 2017. Interviewees should read this page thoroughly and complete the task as soon as possible. Requests for clarification can be sent to jorge@kmo.do
Interviewees should study and resolve the Main Interview Task before resolving this one.
The goal of the Bonus Interview Task is to assess the following:
- Your level of initiative and motivation,
- Your ability to come up with innovative solutions to new problems,
- Your ability to document technical specifications,
- Your ability to reverse engineer and manipulate (hack) a design to suit your own purposes,
- Your attention to detail.
The bonus task consists on preparing a technical document that details how you would use the build endpoint introduced in the Main Interview Task description, to prevent your fellow interviewees from accessing and/or downloading the files in the build manifest. In other words, could you use the endpoint (as is) to block access to the manifest build files to any app other than your own?
