UI/UX Design is the art and science of enhancing user interaction by addressing challenges, simplifying workflows, and creating delightful experiences. By stepping into the user’s shoes, designers craft solutions that are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging.
Kickstarting Your UI/UX Journey:
- Dive deep into the problem statement to uncover user needs and align your designs to solve them.
- Map out your UX process, and if possible, document it in a case study to showcase your thought process.
- Experiment with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or others that match your creative style.
- Fuel your creativity with inspiration from platforms like Behance and Dribbble.
- Take a look at the Existing Issues and find one that interests you!
- Add a comment under that issue asking us to assign you that specific issue that you wish to work on.
- Once assigned, fork the Repo and create a Branch for that Issue.
- Create a duplicate of the figma file given, to start the work on it.
- Work on the issue and pitch in the progress from time to time through the Google sheet, for it to be reviewed and to get suggestions that could be incorporated to improve it.
- Once approved, your changes will be merged into the project. Make sure to name the Pull Request as the Issue's name.
- Add Screenshots and figma link for designed-based projects and document file/link for research-based projects in the PR.
- Repository-specific contribution information is in the respective READMEs of each repo.
- Do not abuse and/or use bad language. Ensure you don't insult anyone. Be respectful and inclusive.
- Please mention your full name on your GitHub handle to be eligible for prizes.
