We take the security of our software seriously. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in the Budget Tracker application, please report it to us as described below.

Please do not report security vulnerabilities through public GitHub issues.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please email us at security@example.com.

Please include the following details in your report:

• A description of the location and potential impact of the vulnerability.
• A detailed description of the steps required to reproduce the vulnerability (POC scripts, screenshots, and compressed packet captures are all helpful to us).
• Any other information you believe is relevant.

We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 3 business days and will send you a detailed response indicating the next steps for handling your report. After the initial reply to your report, the security team will keep you informed of the progress towards a fix and full announcement, and may ask for additional information or guidance.

Please do not disclose the vulnerability publicly until a fix is released.
