Updated date picker component.

Hello,

I was using this project to track PR's of many GitHub acccounts. It was kind off annoying that I wasn't able to move through and fro in the calendar. If I had to track someone's PR history from 2020 or more, I'd have to keep clicking the arrow to navigate to the year 2020. So I thought of modifying a bit.

Merge this PR only if you find it effective.

Hi @AmithBV0606, thanks for the pull request, it looks cool. Is there a reason for removing the events dropdown? Bringing it back would make it easier to directly select October of the current year based on the Hacktoberfest as event type.

Hello @JeevaRamanathan , I saw that the year of the events was hard coded to 2024, Initially I removed it as I wanted to focus only on the date picker component. But I can bring it back. Just given me a week time. I'll get back to you with an update.
