If you're here, there's not much for you but you're free to continue reading in the case you want to start modding or modify materials made by other people.
- Ensure you have a working SKSE installation with Address Library installed.
- Download Material Swapper Framework. There is no FOMOD.
- Launch the game to make sure there's no crashes.
- Press F10 once loaded into a save to view the UI for changing materials.
There should be no problems with uninstalling mid-save. Doing so will not brick a save and you're free to re-enable it later on. If there is save backwards compatibility issues with a later version, in-game UI will guide you through resolving the issues.
The recommended way is via Nexus Mods bug reports. Comments will be looked at but bugs will help me keep myself accountable but also help others searching for if they encountered the same bug. Duplicates are annoying.
When posting a bug report, be as descriptive as possible providing the following:
- What cell it was encountered in (overworld, in a shop, vanilla, modded cell, etc.)
- Was this due to a material with the player or another actor/static?
- Upload your
MaterialSwapperFramework.logto pastebin and paste the link. - If the game crashed, upload a crash log as well. Recommended crash loggers are either TrainWreck or CrashLogger.
