I can see how that'd make things unclear - I'll check on how that verbiage was chosen internally.

CodeNOW exposes much more low level control than a PaaS would, so with the amount of customization available on multi-cloud, multi-cluster environments, I can't really imagine it'd be anything other than a platform orchestrator. We have an option for a PaaS level of license to operate from our control plane, but the option also exists for an independent, air gapped full deployment of CodeNOW that can be altered or configured in practically any way.

If there's a set of capabilities in particular you'd expect in a platform orchestrator as opposed to PaaS, I'll certainly dig into those specifically and report back on it.
