Seeds

Introduction

Seeds is designed to help people be more happy by teaching them to be mindful of what is causing negative patterns in their life in order to make positive changes, as well as training them to look for the good in even the worst of days.

Seeds will organize and display everyday you log in an easy to digest format to help identify positive and negative patterns in your life as well as show you moments you have been gateful for throughout your time using seeds.

Description

Seeds uses Passport, Bcrypt, and Express Sessions to authenticate the user for our application, and MySQL to store the data that Seeds will gather from the user inputs.

Usage

When the user visits the application, they will be shown an option to Login or Sign up.

For first time users, they will be required to enter their Name, Email, and Password to create a new account after clicking Sign up.

Sign up Page.

If you are a returning user, enter your email address and password after clicking Log In.

Log in Page.

Once logged in, the user can create a new post by clicking on "+ New Post" on the top right of the window.

Members page.

The user will be first asked if they had a good or bad day. Next they will be asked for the reason for their good or bad day. Lastly, the user will be asked to enter a gratitude for the day. Once they enter a gratitude, the user can click the submit button.

Once the user completes a post, they will be given some metrics on the members page. For example, the user can see the total number of posts, the percentage of good days, the current streak of good days, a carousel with entered gratitudes, and a log of 5 posts.
