statistics is a library intended to assist in data analysis and numerical modeling.

statistics supports the creation of continuous distributions using raw data through either Method of Moments or Linear Moments fitting. Alternatively programmers can create distributions using the parameters that describe the distribution (e.g. mean and standard deviation for the Normal distribution).

There are many other features of the statistics library, this site attempts to discuss the status and future of the individual packages.
