Backend Project - Minor 2

Project Overview

This project is a backend service for a web application. It provides APIs for user authentication, data management, and other functionalities.

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/minor2-backend.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd minor2-backend

3. Install dependencies:

   npm install

Configuration

1. Create a .env file in the root directory and add the following environment variables:

   PORT=3000
   MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_uri
   JWT_SECRET=your_secret_key

Running the Application

1. Start the development server:

   npm run dev

2. The server will be running at http://localhost:3000.

API Endpoints

• POST /v1/api/auth/register - Register a new user
• POST /v1/api/auth/login - Login a user
• POST /v1/api/auth/login - Logout a user
