I have no idea when these were fixed - but the removed ones in this PR have been addressed, and build/run as expected with a current top-of-tree build of CCE.

If you would rather have edits to the individual README files for preservation of the examples, I could do that - however I won't be able to add "fixed in version" information for each individual issue.

@rouson or @ktras , would either of you be able to verify that the examples being removed here do in fact work with the latest CCE?

I know Perlmutter has CCE 18. I'm not sure how to access anything newer, but I'll follow up during a call with HPE today. I gave a talk on flang and CCE experiences for HPE a few weeks ago and was offered earlier access to new releases or pre-release versions, but I haven't heard any details yet.

I have been told that Livermore has access to the every-2-week prerelease repo. I would not count on CCE 18 having some/most/any of these fixes.

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have access to any Livermore systems. Probably the best installation for me would be in Sameer Shende's HPE/Cray systems at the University of Oregon. If someone can tell me who can grant Sameer access to the latest CCE two-week build, I'll ask him to install it.

I have a question out now to my contact for enablement - I'll let you know what I hear.
