Description

Made this mod to play with a friend, it adds new food related features to Minecraft!

• 8 new food items
• 1 new crop
• 1 new farming based enchantment

Features

• Ambrosia

  • Drops from Oak Leaves
  • Found in structures
  • Can be traded
  • Can be used to craft Ambrosia Cider
  • Can be used to craft Golden Apple

• Ambrosia Cider

  • Can be found in structures
  • Can be traded
  • Gives Regeneration effect

• Banana

  • Drops from Jungle Leaves
  • Found in structures
  • Can be used to craft Banana Bread

• Banana Bread

  • Crafted from Banana and Bread

• Corn

  • Drops from Corn Crop
  • Found in structures
  • Can be traded

• Corn Crop

  • Spawns in village farms

• Corn Seeds

  • Drops from Corn Crop
  • Found in structures

• Droughtless Enchantment

  • Hoe enchantment which causes farm land to constantly be hydrated and to not need a water source nearby
  • Found in structures
  • Can be traded

• Granny Smith

  • Drops from Oak Leaves
  • Found in structures
  • Can be traded
  • Can be used to craft Granny Smith Cider
  • Can be used to craft Golden Apple

• Granny Smith Cider

  • Can be found in structures
  • Can be traded
  • Gives Haste effect

• Honeycrisp

  • Changed the name of Apple to Honeycrisp

• Honeycrisp Cider

  • Can be found in structures
  • Can be traded
  • Gives Swiftness effect

Installation

1. Install NeoForge 1.21.0 for Minecraft 1.21.0
2. Download the foodmod-1.0.1.jar file from here:

https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/minecraft-food-refresh

3. Place the .jar into your mods folder:
   • Windows: %appdata%/.minecraft/mods/
   • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods/
   • Linux: ~/.minecraft/mods/
4. Launch Minecraft with the NeoForge 1.21.0 profile

Patch Notes

• 1.0.1
  • Farmer villagers now properly harvest the corn crop
  • Farmer villagers can now plant corn seeds

Known Issues

• Farmer Villagers will not pick up corn or corn seeds when they harvest the corn crop
  • This will most likely not be fixed since a villager's wanted items is immutable as far as I'm aware
