Should definitely reference the "Rituals" page here as well. Weekly Round Ups are the rallying cry of the community. The internal community members lack of info is an even larger problem tbh, maybe could use both external + internal summaries on developments Design Considerations is super vague:
Calls for contributions, large and small, should also motivate the reader to come back for more – beyond MM points. Being invited to learn something about Govrn, share it with your own community, and report back to Govrn, would be more rewarding than "rt this now" Will habe more to say after sleep :D Edit: Mirror.exwuizee |

Weekly Round Up Project Belief: Our community recognizes the power of Cultural Customs to foster belonging; a rallying cry to action Reason: In the Govrn Community, tons of initiatives are happening that many people (including internal community members) don't realize. This is due to:
Goal: Maximize visibility of community initiatives, provide recognition for hardworking community members, provide open funnel for new contributors to onboard Expected Output: A twice monthly "Community Roundup" highlighting Govrn Wins, actionable + fulfilling call to engagement. A weekly internal report on integration developments, pain-points, and updates on ongoing matters.
Design Considerations:
Note: Many of these ideas came from Linear's Startups Write Changelogs. |

yes, love where you're headed.
Big yes here
Interesting, i totally agree on this. One of the things I'm curious to test out is if just by creating the process of a weekly roundup that we start to fix this.
Agreed, this feels like a good starting point.
What do you think we should do with our Medium? Post it there as well?
I do like this but lets build to this. I'd start lets consistently get out 4 weekly round ups first then start doing educational material. Question for @MyceliaStargaze, when would you want to do the first one? |
To me the community roundup is a fun, enticing peek into Govrn progression. The lack of internal communication is a massive oversight that if not remedied will lead to deeper fractures down the line. idk tho, maybe im being overly dramatic. definitely something to keep an eye on and build towards in the future
We can even keep the internal report as a sort of "Ship's Log", for posterity's sake and as a future reference for others.
Medium can be used as a temporary emailing list. Ultimately content sovereignty is better
Agree. 4 weekly rounds up? or 4 Sections of roundup weekly?
A$AP ROCKY. lmk what or who to talk to and i'll have it before tuesday's community call |

I like "ships log", but been thinking more about what is the "Govrn Lore" and trying to think of a Govrn name for Ships Log that reflects our personality better.
4 weekly round ups In terms of timing, next Friday would align with some internal govrn cycles. I'm just curious if we can get it together in time for that. You think so? I can get you a high level run down of people to talk to and things going on by Monday evening, do you think you could get a first draft done by Wednesday? |
"Knowledge Archives"; "Govrnance Graph"; idk, i'll find something
Yes
No Problemo
