First public release of a portable Windows password & passphrase generator.

Highlights

• Password mode (characters): length + lowercase/uppercase/digits/symbols
• Custom symbols supported (including \ / ! @ # $ % ^ & * and more)
• Policy-friendly option: “Enforce 1 of each selected type.”
• Passphrase mode (words): wordlist + separator + optional capitalization
• Optional extras for passphrases: append digits and/or append 1 symbol
• Runs offline (no internet) and does not store generated passwords

Download / Run

1. Download the ZIP from this release
2. Extract anywhere
3. Run PasswordGen.exe

Portable package contents (do not remove)

Keep these in the same folder:

• PasswordGen.exe
• PasswordEngine.exe
• _internal\ required (engine runtime)
• wordlist.txt (recommended for passphrases)
• HELP.txt (optional)

If _internal\ is missing, generate may appear to do nothing.

Recommended settings

• Passwords: 16–24 characters, enable Enforce 1 of each selected
• Passphrases: 4–6 words, optionally append 2 digits + 1 symbol

Notes (Antivirus / Smart Screen)

Some systems may show warnings or false positives for portable packaged apps.
If Windows blocks the engine:

• Windows Security >> Virus & threat protection >> Protection history
• Restore the file if quarantined
