- Start browsing servers immediately!
The application is completely standalone and requires no additional setup.
- Launch AMS2 Quick Connector
- Wait for the server list to load (fetches from Steam API)
- Use filters to narrow down your search:
- ☑️ Empty - Hide servers with no players
- ☑️ Full - Hide servers at capacity
- ☑️ Password-protected - Hide private servers
- Use the search field to find specific servers or tracks
- Click any column header to sort
- Select a server from the list
- Click "ADD TO FAVORITES"
- Enter server password if required (optional)
- Server appears in the favorites panel on the right
- Select a server (from list or favorites)
- Click "CONNECT"
- Game launches automatically via Steam
- You're connected!
Click the ⚙ Settings icon (top right) to:
- Change interface language
- Enable VR mode for all connections
- Settings persist between sessions
The filter system works in combination - enable multiple filters to narrow results:
Hide servers: [✓] Empty [✓] Full [ ] Password-protected
Filters update the list in real-time.
Type part of a server or track name:
- "Nordschleife" → Shows all Nordschleife servers
- "inoff" → Finds "AMS2 Inoffizielle Deutsche Community"
- Case-insensitive and instant results
- Optional: Only requested for password-protected servers
- Saved: Passwords stored per favorite server
- Secure: Stored locally in
favorites.json - Changeable: Use "CHANGE PASSWORD" button anytime
Enable in settings for automatic VR launch:
- ✓ Enabled: Game starts in VR mode
- ☐ Disabled: Normal desktop mode
- Applies to all connections
The application creates the following files in its directory:
