Our group, Full Mesh, was tasked with a project scenario. Our goal was to build the solution within a week. This is our organizational github we used to accomplish that task.
Problem Domain: Updating the IT infrastructure of a recently acquired startup to align with the rest of GlobeX's holdings. The existing intranet cannot be directly integrated, so new infrastructure needs to be built.
Solution: Develop a Powershell script to stand up a new domain controller for the acquisition's network, with an automated population of users and OUs based on the organizational chart. Build a secure site-to-site VPN tunnel with at least one alteration compared to what was done in class, such as using a different router and VPN protocol. Deploy a RADIUS system that raises a captive portal for new network users and authenticates them using AD credentials, to provide network access control with a healthy level of AAA security management.
