Hi there 👋

I'm Federica, Actuary and Statistician , Certified Carpentries Instructor.

🏃‍♀️ Currently, I'm engaged in diverse projects, notably the Global Burden of Diseases (GBD) initiative in collaboration with IHME. If you'd like to know more about Health Metrics such as DALYs, YLLs and YLDs and how they are affected by the spread of Infectious Diseases have a look at my latest book: I teach how to use Machine Learning algorithms and apply spatial models in R.
