- Improved AI readiness through onboarding workflows, training resources, and adoption support.
- Increased transparency by clearly communicating available AI services, policies, and responsible-use expectations.
- Enabled scalable self-service by directing users to appropriate tools, training, and support pathways.
A continuing institutional initiative supported by the AI Services and Technology Innovation Committee and DXIHub (Hub of Digital Transformation and Innovation). This effort combines a campus-wide AI tools inventory with a scalable adoption framework to improve transparency, enable governance and compliance, and guide strategic, ethical integration of AI across administrative, technological, and operational systems.
This workstream focuses on building confidence, competence, and consistency in AI adoption through structured onboarding, communications, training, and scalable access models.
Developed and maintained structured onboarding pathways, guidance, documentation, and web resources to support safe and effective use of AI tools, including ChatGPT and other emerging platforms.
Scalable AI Self-Service Access (https://services.fresnostate.ai)
Implemented a centralized self-service and provisioning model to streamline access to approved AI tools while reinforcing governance expectations and reducing operational overhead.
Led institution-wide enablement efforts to improve productivity, writing quality, and digital fluency through:
- ChatGPT (Faculty, Staff, & Students) — Onboarding guidance, documentation, and responsible-use resources to support safe and effective adoption.
- Microsoft Copilot — Enablement and adoption support for AI-assisted productivity workflows across Microsoft 365 applications, aligned with governance and secure-use practices.
- Google Gemini & NotebookLM — Access rollout, guidance, and adoption support for emerging generative AI tools.
- Grammarly (Faculty & Staff) — Pilot programs, workshops, and support resources to enhance communication and writing efficiency.
- Adobe AI — Activation and enablement of AI-powered Adobe tools for creative, instructional, and administrative workflows.
Enablement methods included onboarding workflows, documentation, training sessions, communications, and ongoing support resources.
These initiatives represent Agentic AI solutions designed to optimize workflows and modernize services through AI-guided task assistance, trusted knowledge retrieval, and scalable adoption patterns. All agents are designed to align with shared infrastructure and governance controls.
