infra_lab is a collection of hands-on infrastructure labs designed to help me become proficient in cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on applied machine learning, automation, and security.
These labs go beyond provisioning compute — they simulate real-world research and production scenarios, such as:
- Training ML models on EC2 instances and saving weights to S3
- Triggering alerts (e.g. via SNS) when long-running jobs complete
- Applying and testing AWS security best practices
- Automating deployments with Terraform
- Experimenting with IAM, networking, VPC, security groups, etc.
