TECH ENVIRONMENT SETUP

Objective

For this project, the following tools and resources were installed and set up to enable the DevOps program training:

• Visual studio code (VSCode)
• Git
• Virtual box
• Ubuntu
• Github account
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) account

Visual studio code (VSCode)

VSCode was downloaded from the official Visual Studio Code website (https://code.visualstudio.com/) and installed.

Git

Git was downloaded from the official Git website (https://git-scm.com/) and installed.

Virtual box

Virtual box was downloaded from the official VirtualBox website (https://www.virtualbox.org/) and installed.

Ubuntu

Ubuntu was downloaded from the official Ubuntu website (https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop) and installed on the VirtualBox environment.

Github account

Github account was created and set up on the GitHub website (https://github.com/).
