Enable Chrome Remote Desktop

In addition to xRDP for local connections, kWSL has Chrome Remote Desktop pre-installed.

Follow these steps to enable Chrome Remote Desktop and gain access to your kWSL instance from outside your network.

• In any browser, visit the Chrome Remote Desktop for headless systems page:

• Click Next (kWSL is already pre-configured with the CRD package)

• Click Authorize. You will be prompted to login to your Google account

• Copy the shell command to your clipboard

• Paste the command into a kWSL console window, hit enter, and enter a PIN code when prompted

• Setup is complete. Go to another PC and visit https://remotedesktop.google.com to test connectivity

You are now able to reach your kWSL instance from anywhere on the Internet.
