Picofly firmware 2.80 - Major improvements :)
This release contains the following major changes:
- Sub 0.2 second boot times (although it entirely depends on the integrity of your modchip installation),
- Detection for a post-OFW update sequence (updating from OFW boots OFW after restarting, but the modchip detects this now and also keeps the LED of the modchip turned on to indicate this),
- Optimized bootrom timings (for faster modchip resets),
- A more efficient way of storing glitch timings/found glitch timings and training data (each boot glitch timings are compared against stored training data and is updated "dynamically"),
- Improved write speeds to the eMMC for sdloader.
Additional changes include:
- Debug LED color changes (this time likely final). Glitching is now blue, Training is light blue, Comparison is beige, Success is yellow/orange, Fault is red.
- Overall more optimized code.
- Two helper scripts for building/compiling μsk locally/remotely (more info on this in README).
- A proper README.
Updating your firmware
Updating your modchip's firmware can be done using picofly_toolbox. See this page of my guide on how to do this:
