Use BrightWheel for selecting colors from a palette. It uses maximum luminocity for every color. Use SmoothWheel for color fades. It uses a more consistant luminocity for every color.

The commits prior to
Add Bill's code from May 5th emailare pretty large, but target only my HTML visualizer.The later commits are much smaller and only make 1 change per commit. It's worth looking at each of them to learn what I'm doing with the code.
I've got some much more significant commits in a local branch, but I don't want to venture down that road until I get Bill's changes merged in. Someday he will git.
