"Snag" is a cross-platform system wide audio capture tool for quickly recording and resampling audio from applications on your computer.
Audio regions can be selected and dragged into other programs or saved to your disk.

Intended use cases:
Recording audio- Useful for saving audio from programs that dont have audio export features
- Use as an audio backup for recordings
Audio resampling- Instantly resample audio from your DAW and instruments or sound design sessions, especially if you forget to hit record
Re-encoding- Quickly convert recorded audio into formats like .mp3 or .flac for platforms which don't accept files above a certain size limit (like Discord)
- Not gonna lie I wanted to allow people to drag stuff into here and instantly reencode
Visualisation- Look at pretty waveform visualisations
