This would allow us to use multiple lines in the status display and it even looks slightly nicer. However, IntelliJ's terminal has problems with it, probably because of the custom scroll region code. Terminal.app works fine with this.
Merge after it is fixed. JetBrains/jediterm#191 and https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-252747 is probably related.
