This mobile application is built using Flutter, and it is meant as an augmentation tool to handmade spectroscopes. It is capable of processing data from collected spectra image and helps with identifying the light source. Project is also supplemented with custom template for making your own papercraft spectroscope!
Our goal is to promote the understanding of optical spectroscopy, a fundamental area of physics, by creating an affordable and easy-to-use paper spectroscope for students. Our solution will allow users to observe beautiful spectra of various elements, similar to those found in physics textbooks. Additionally, we aim to enhance the learning experience by developing a mobile application that can analyze the obtained spectra, making scientific exploration more accessible and engaging for students and educators alike.
App allows for taking a photo, or selecting one from gallery, as well as cropping to the required fragment. After that the image data is processed and user is presented with a graph presenting distribution of light in the spectra as well as elements with closest discharge spectra.
