Application Settings

How to Access the Settings

The settings of your Buttery Taskbar can be accessed through the tray icon in the notification area of the taskbar. In case you're confused, it is the one with the yellow arrow and it says Buttery Taskbar when hovering your cursor over it.

Next, right-click (secondary-click) the icon to view the context menu, which allows you to have some authority over your Buttery Taskbar, including the ability to quit the program.

The application icon is in the system tray Right click on the icon to show the settings context menu

Tour of the Various Settings

"Disable"

When checked, this disables Buttery Taskbar's functionality of hiding the taskbar; the taskbar remains visible as normal.

This setting is not saved following the application's closure.

"Keep taskbar hidden"

When checked, Buttery Taskbar acts to keep the taskbar hidden at all times when the Start Menu is closed. This is necessary because the taskbar can reappear of it's own accord, even after having been permanently hidden.

You may want to disable this if you intend to override the taskbar's visibility in another way. For more information, see this wiki section.

"Start with Windows"

When checked, the application should start up automatically without your intervention after logging in. Therefore, you get the real deal as soon as you're ready to get down to business.
