ComicFix Open-Source Community Code of Conduct

Purpose
ComicFix is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all participants, regardless of experience level, background, gender, race, or identity. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participants and steps for reporting unacceptable behavior.

Our Standards
All community members are expected to:

1. Be Respectful

   • Respect all community members regardless of their skill level, background, or personal identity.
   • Use welcoming and inclusive language. Avoid discriminatory, demeaning, or offensive remarks.

2. Be Collaborative

   • Encourage and support fellow developers by providing constructive feedback.
   • Collaborate with kindness. Offer help when needed and respect differing viewpoints and experiences.

3. Be Transparent

   • Share knowledge openly and foster a collaborative learning environment.
   • Attribute work and ideas properly. Give credit where it’s due.

4. Be Responsible

   • Take responsibility for your actions and behavior within the community.
   • Contribute in ways that benefit others and the overall development of the community.

5. Promote Inclusivity

   • Ensure that everyone feels safe and welcome, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, race, or religious beliefs.
   • Respect cultural differences and value diverse opinions.

6. Handle Disagreements Gracefully

   • Disagreements are inevitable, but they should be handled constructively and respectfully.
   • If disagreements arise, seek to understand the other person’s perspective and resolve conflicts in a peaceful, respectful manner.

Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable in our community and will not be tolerated:

• Harassment of any kind, including offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, or religion.
• Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory remarks.
• Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
• Trolling, spamming, or inflammatory comments intended to provoke others.
• Doxxing (sharing private or personally identifiable information without consent).
• Disruptive behavior that hinders constructive discussions or collaborations.

Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to our team at [comicfixxx@gmail.com]. All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

We encourage you to report:

• Threatening or inappropriate behavior.
• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language.
• Violations of community standards.

Consequences
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the following actions:

• A warning.
• Temporary or permanent expulsion from the community without a refund (if applicable).
• Removal of contributions or posts related to the violation.
