Installation

Requirements

→ Windows, macOS or Linux → X-Plane 11.50 or newer → Works with all aircraft, including add-ons

Installation

→ Close X-Plane
→ Place the folder "StableApproach" into X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/
    The folder structure should then look like this:
    windows:X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/StableApproach/win_x64/...
    macOS: X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/StableApproach/mac_x64/...
    Linux: X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/StableApproach/lin_x64/...
    This folder should include the StableApproach.xpl file. On Windows, there are also two additional .dll files
→ macOS: See additional steps below
→ Run X-Plane , a welcome message should show up
→ READ The message :)
→ Fly

macOS Security warning

StableApproach is not (yet) verified as an "official" application for macOS, which causes a warning when trying to launch X-Plane with StableApproach installed on recent macOS versions. Unfortunately, you can't just ignore this warning, the plugin will not load. Therefore, please follow these steps to launch X-Plane for the first time after installing StableApproach: https://support.apple.com/en-en/guide/mac-help/mh40616/12.0/mac/12.0
(Becoming a "verified" Apple developer would cost me 100USD/year, which is not feasible for me at the moment)
