Firebase storage

here are two features of the Firebase Console that the lab makes use of in addition to its hosting capabilities. This page concerns the storage bucket.

Overview

All data generated by the experiments is saved to the storage bucket. In general, data is saved in the format study-name/condition/sub-condition/(...)/date/worker-id.csv. (Older experiments do not necessarily follow this format.)

Using storage

From the GUI, it is possible to download, upload, and delete files, as well to create and delete folders. Moving files between folders, however, is not possible. In general, you should not need to delete or upload anything from/to the storage bucket; it is important to keep all files saved to Firebase storage for backup purposes, though an exception can be made for files generated from test runs.
