My name is Carlos Dip. I'm a computer engineer, currently employed at Databricks as a Scale Solutions Engineer.
I have a lot of experience working with Azure and AWS, and have participated in several projects involving Data Engineering and Data Science. Some of the project's topics include Generative AI, Computer Vision, and different forms of Data Analysis/Visualisation for Business Applications.
I'm quite familiar with lots of programming languages, and have implemented many projects from scratch, many of which you can see here in Github.
My main language is Python, often in Jupyter Notebook environments, however I'm familiar with SQL, JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Java, C, VHDL, and a few others. I have used many famous frameworks in the past for applied projects, such as MySQL, Django, NodeJS+React, MongoDB, FastAPI, and some others.
I have worked with many Machine Learning projects, from Naive Bayes sentiment classification and Random Forest image classifiers to Convolutional Neural Networks for image processing (alongside other traditional computer vision algorithms), Reinforcement Learning connect 4 players, and many more.
I'm fluent in both english and portuguese, and have beginner level spanish.
If you'd like to reach out to me about anything, you can email me at cadudip@hotmail.com or carlos.dip@databricks.com.br. I'm also on LinkedIn.
