Problem identified as celldex failing to install. Error reads as
Error: object 'altReadObject' is not exported by 'namespace:alabaster.base'

Attempt to manually install alabaster.base failed due to dependency on assorthead (23 Feb 2026). Testing with upstream dependency installations.

Offending line in celldex package is here: https://github.com/SingleR-inc/celldex/blob/ddf0173debf240f0861b32e3b96fa35bc67d8ecc/R/fetchReference.R#L35
