@cthoyt, okay, I updated the Bacting version. Can you give me instructions how to:

  1. make a release (e.g. update the version number? do I do that by hand?)
  2. push the release to pypy

sorry for the late reply - you just need to be on the main branch and run tox -e finish - this will bump the version, build, push to pypi, then push to git

Okay, I "just" did it now. The first pass failed because I did not have a token set up yet. It did not recover from that, trying to do things there were already done, and failing there. But with the content of the tox.ini I was able to just do the steps that had not already completed.

We have 2.14 on Pypi now :) https://pypi.org/project/pybacting/#history
